Kenny advises decision makers on how to enact change by communicating their vision to the public, turning stakeholders into champions, and keeping the media onside.

Born and bred in Wellington, Kenny has worked in and around New Zealand’s public sector for over fifteen years. Prior to founding Lillis Clark, he had inside experience of our political environment, Executive Government, Parliamentary process, political parties, select committees’ operation and the work of the public service. This includes work alongside senior ministers in charge of challenging portfolios including finance, health, transport, revenue, industrial relations, police, ICT, and tertiary education.

Kenny has also worked in the financial services industry on both sides of the regulatory divide. First at BNZ as Government Relations Manager ensuring the bank was understood by key decision makers, and then at the Financial Markets Authority coordinating cross-government policy changes to help protect consumers.
